Overview
This is the grand tour of South India and North India. Explore the best of north and south of India. This 15-day tour takes you through the culturally rich cities of Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Varanasi, and the serene beauty of Cochin, Alleppey, Kumarakom, Munnar, and Madurai which is a blend of diversity of India covering lot of heritage, culture, traditionals, sprituality and colours of India.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be received by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later in the day, go for a leisurely stroll to explore the surroundings.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and Raj Ghat, which are famous historical landmarks of the city. Afterwards visit Akshardham Temple and Humayun's Tomb. In the evening, after lunch visit some british architecture like India Gate, President House & Parliament House, end the day by visiting beautiful sikh temple "Gurudwara Bangla Sahib". Overnight relax at the Hotel.
Day 3: Agra
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Agra, which is about 3 hours away from Delhi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. Later, visit the Taj Mahal at sunset from riverside gardens called Mehtabh Bagh, enjoy a beautiful view of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. End the day with authentic dinner at a nice restaurant. Overnight relax.
Day 4: Taj Mahal - Jaipur
Morning visit majestic Taj Mahal with rising sun, later come back to the Hotel. After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur, which is about 4 hours away from Agra. En route, visit the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its Mughal architecture and a ancient Stepwell in a small village. On arrival at Jaipur, check-in at the hotel and relax.
Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort, a hilltop fort known for its beautiful architecture and panoramic views of the city. Later, visit Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Jantar Mantar, which are famous historical landmarks of the city. After the lunch go for evening walk at local bazaars of Jaipur famous for Handicrafts, Textile, Jewellery etc. Overnight relax at the Hotel.
Day 6: Varanasi
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and fly to Varanasi, a city known for its spiritual and religious significance. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax. Later in the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat, which is a must-see experience in Varanasi.
Day 7: Varanasi Sightseeing
Early morning, take a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges and witness the daily rituals and traditions performed by the locals. Later, visit Sarnath, a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its historical significance.
Day 8: Kochi
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and fly to Cochin, which is a beautiful city in Kerala known for its diverse culture and historical landmarks. , arrive at Cochin Airport and get transferred to your hotel. After check-in, spend the day at leisure and explore the city at your own pace. You can visit the local markets and taste some traditional Kerala cuisine.
Day 9: Kochi sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Cochin. Visit popular attractions such as the Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, and St. Francis Church. In the evening, you can also attend a Kathakali dance performance. Overnight relax at the Hotel after the kochi sightseeing tour.
Day 10: Alleppey
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and check-in to your houseboat. Cruise through the serene backwaters of Alleppey, and admire the scenic beauty of the area. You will also get a chance to witness the local lifestyle of the people living on the banks of the backwaters.
Day 11: Alleppey - Kumarakom
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom and check-in to your hotel. Enjoy a day at leisure and relax amidst the beautiful surroundings. You can also opt for a spa treatment or take a stroll around the bird sanctuary.
Day 12: Munnar
After breakfast, drive to Munnar and check-in to your hotel. Munnar is famous for its tea plantations and scenic beauty. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and explore the nearby markets.
Day 13: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit popular attractions such as the Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Tea Museum, and Eravikulam National Park. In the evening, you can also visit the local markets. Overnight relax at the Hotel.
Day 14: Madurai
After breakfast, drive to Madurai and check-in to your hotel. In the evening, visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, which is dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi and her consort, Lord Shiva. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 15: Madurai Sighseeing - Delhi
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Madurai. Visit popular attractions such as Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal, Gandhi Memorial Museum, and the Thirupparankundram Murugan Temple. Later, you will be transferred to Madurai International Airport for your flight back home.
